Art Director: Huang Liehan

Mr. Huang is a Class-I actor. As current president, CEO and stage manager of Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theatre Co. Ltd, he is a planner for large-scale acrobatic dramas, acrobatic themed evenings and other performances.

He engineered a series of acrobatic dramas and acrobatic themed evenings such as “Guangdong Story”, “The Five Elements”, “Glory of the Forbidden City”, “Heroic Boys” and “Journey to the West” etc.. The programs engineered by him include “Head Balancing of Bowls”,“Contortion”, “Jumping through Hoops on a Trampoline”, “Sunshine Girls – Gymnastic Acrobatics”, “Youthful Rhythms - Diabolo”, “Going Beyond - Trampoline”, “Pursuit – Acrobatics on Bars”, “Golden Imagination – Ball Feat”, “Slack Wire” etc..

The aforementioned programs won a lot of important awards home and abroad such as the Golden and Silver Clown Awards at the Monte Carlo International Acrobatic Competition, Gold Prize at the 5th Moscow International Youth Circus Festival, Golden Lion at the 6th National Golden Lion Acrobatic Competition, the 12th Wenhua Grand Prize at the 8th China Arts Festival, Ten Classic Dramas Produced during 2007-2008 for the Project of China National Classic Stage Arts etc..

Art director: Cao Jianping

Mrs. Cao is a Class-I director. She is chief director of Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theatre Co. Ltd., vice chairman of Guangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and president of Guangzhou Acrobats Association.

She was rewarded by Guangzhou Municipal Government and Guangzhou Culture Bureau multiple times. She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award of Golden Chrysanthemum Award in 2004 and was invited to be the board member of selection committee for the “Ten Classic Dramas Produced during 2004-2005 for the Project of China National Classic Stage Arts”. She won the title of “Guangzhou Top-Ten Outstanding Women” in 2004 and “Guangdong March 8th Red-Banner Holders” in 2005.

Her team have “Glory of Forbidden City”, “The Five Elements” and “Journey to the West” to their credit. The large-scale acrobatic drama “Journey to the West” produced by her team won 12th Wenhua Grand Prize at the 8th China Arts Festival and was listed as the “Ten Classic Dramas Produced during 2007-2008 for the Project of China National Classic Stage Arts”.

Vice Director: Xu Juan

Mrs. Xu is a Class-I director and is currently vice general manager of Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theatre Co. Ltd.

She was chief director of the closing ceremony for the 7th Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music, the artistic performances at the opening ceremony for the 16th Asian Games, the opening ceremony for Guangzhou International Choir Festival, the artistic performances at “Cambodia Culture Week”, the 1st and 2nd “Magic Festival for Magicians from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan”. She was also the choreographer for “Journey to the West”, “The Five Elements” and “Glory of Forbidden City”.

Her major works include “Golden Imagination – Ball Feat”, “Chinese Doll- Diabolo”, “Sunshine Girls – Gymnastic Acrobatics”, “Heroic Boys–Slack Wire” etc., which won Golden Lion at the National Golden Lion Acrobatic Competition, Golden Clown Award at the Monte Carlo International Acrobatic Competition, Gold Prize at the 5th Moscow International Youth Circus Festival, Golden Lion at the 6th National Golden Lion Acrobatic Competition, the 12th Wenhua Grand Prize at the 8th China Arts Festival, Ten Classic Dramas Produced during 2007-2008 for the Project of China National Classic Stage Arts etc.

Vice Director: Zhao Junfang

Mrs. Zhao is a Class-II director and is currently vice general manager of Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theatre Co. Ltd.

She was the choreographer of the gala evening at the closing ceremony for the 9th National Sports Meet, chief executive director for award gala for the 27th Plum Performance Award, the 2nd Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation, chief director for the award show for the 9th Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music, choreographer for 2015 CCTV spring festival gala show. She was involved in the production of “Journey to the West”, “The Five Elements” and “Heroic Boys”.

Her major works include “Golden Imagination – Ball Feat”, “Space Dream- Contortion”, “Magic—Clocks’ Changing”, “Youthful Rhythms - Diabolo” etc. which won Golden Lion at the National Golden Lion Acrobatic Competition, Silver Clown Award at the 29th Monte Carlo International Acrobatic Competition, Gold Prize at the 5th Moscow International Youth Circus Festival, Golden Lion at the 6th National Golden Lion Acrobatic Competition, the 12th Wenhua Grand Prize and Wenhua Prize for Choreography and the Ten Classic Dramas Produced during 2007-2008 for the Project of China National Classic Stage Arts and so on and so forth.
